This AW18, Louis Vuitton made official the rumored collaboration with Supreme in a catwalk show hosted at Men’s Fashion Week in Paris. Although, designer collaborations with street wear brands is nothing new this season, the mixture of one of the smartest high end brands as it is Louis Vuitton; with Supreme – one of the most emblematic and sounded Street wear brands at the moment; was set to hit the mark, and it certainly passed it. The result, the most sounded collection of the season.
Supreme brought to the collection some really cool street vibes, with denim pieces and accessories printed with a new reinvented LV monogram reading Supreme within. All these pieces mixed with the classic lines of Louis Vuitton – loose cuts, relaxed garments and outrageously luxurious fabrics, also some nods to workwear and tailoring – created a High-Low feeling that spread through the whole collection.
The collaboration is set to be released with 3 pop-up stores in the US on the 30th of June, followed by 10 other pop-ups worldwide on the 14th of July, to finally be fully released in the 17th of July in select LV stores.
