One of the first brands to show at Paris Fashion Week Men’s was AMI Paris.
Hosting a fashion show at such a grand location as the Theatre Nation de Challot, was setting a precedent for an ambitious and mesmerising Parisian show that was ahead.
With a dramatic royal entrance and museum-esque statues on the route into the showroom, the fashion-conscious crowds began to embark upon the show with high expectations.
With neutral, simplistic drapes segmenting the room, each guest found their seat to a rumbling classic French ensemble playing overhead. The atmosphere was tense, people waiting, anticipating, watching every movement in the room.
The collection itself was nothing but exceptional. With a recurring theme of understated tailoring throughout, the mens’ and womenswear apparel both screamed clean-cut lines, layered luxe looks and slightly oversized silhouettes throughout.
With a mixture of an earthy colour pallet and pastel colour pops, the clear theme of the AW19 range was neutral, classical and very much predicted a trend for next season.
