The London-based brand PAVANE created by designers Georgina Edmonds and Fiona Ransom, presented this AW15 collection at the Institute of Contemporary Arts, a venue consisting of a set of Victorian-looking continued rooms where the models would catwalk through.
The collection itself had a very minimalistic feeling, thanks to the muted colours, and the simplicity of the fabrics with no prints – the silhouettes had a lot more to say in this collection. The garments had a very masculine-tailory look which was soften with the use of some delicate looking fabrics in antithesis of the boxy and structured of some of the other garments.
PAVANE has proposed a very enjoyable, and yet more important, wearable collection to take us into the autumn/winter season next year.
