Last but definitely not least, we have our all time favorite brand from London Fashion Week – JOSEPH, who unveiled a minimalistic and fresh womenswear collection with menswear influences. The SS16 collection consisted of monochrome pieces such as sweaters, T-shirts and skirts defined and held-together by twist and turns that made the models look like they were stylishly wrapped in fabrics. Talk about mastering the art of fabric manipulation!
JOSEPH presented pencil and bengal striped skirts and shirt-dresses, that are very trendy this season, and were not only seen on many other shows on fashion weeks in London, Paris, New York and Milan but also on TV, editorials and street style.
The touch of masculinity was brought in the collection with conventional feminized suits teamed with the classic white shirt – which is known for portraying a sense of professionism. To make the collection more laid back and creative, JOSEPH added not only minimalistic lines, but also trainers – a trend that’s hot right now. Imagine a girl dressed in her boyfriend’s clothes, but adding her own feminine touch to give the outfit a sophisticated twist. We absolutely love it, and that’s what Head Turners stands for: Minimalistic and androgynous Fashion.
