This Season, the Chelsea based brand HEMYCA decided to showcase their collection as an exhibition. Hosted at the ME hotel, the thirty minute long demonstration took place in a impressive space with projections in a nine storey high atrium, where the models were standing in pedastals as guests scrutinised the garments that formed the collection.

HEMYCA, who targets a middle class to upper class women interested in a high end luxury style, used mainly a monochrome colour palette with the pressence of some red details, and a dark duck egg blue sneaking in the collection. The garments had an avant garde feeling with some geometrical and tartan print breaking the minimalism of the design.

Overall, an inspiring collection giving some hints of what we could see next autumn/winter season on the street. Seeing the tartan and geometrical prints repeatedly across the shows in this season, we must consider them as an upcoming trend that has been slightly introducing itself this year into the high street, and it looks like it is coming to stay.
